Duh. 4 years for Carlson and Kuznetsov. Has to be paid in his most recent bracket. Weighted average pulls it to the bottom of that range, hence 5.75.

Yep, exactly. Thanks!
For a bit of an oddball, how about Val Nichushkin? Right now he's at $2,950,000.
2017/2018 0.00 fpts/g (0 g) 2016/2017 0.00 fpts/g (0 g) 2015/2016 0.73 fpts/g (79 g) 58 points 2014/2015 0.25 fpts/g (8 g) 2 points
"Section B - Players with less than 41 NHL GP in most recent season" rule applies, right? =(sum points)/(sum games) =60/87 =0.690 Rubric says
Requesting to reduce salary inline with re-sign rubric, 2 year bridge deal at $1,000,000 per year

Approved. Still unclear if you accepted Radulov or not haha

Sorry, I am mulling Radulov over, if I can, while I run the numbers on the rest of the squad. Seems like a waste to use a golden ticket to save 500k.

Malkin $9,500,000 (4 years) 2017/2018 1.88 fpts/g (78 games) tier 1 2016/2017 1.74 fpts/g (62 games) tier 1 2015/2016 1.53 fpts/g (57 games) tier 1 2014/2015 1.52 fpts/g (69 games) tier 1
I'm looking to keep his 4 year deal, in line with the rubric--based around his most recent season--around $8,000,000.
TJ Oshie $5,750,000 (4 years)
2017/2018 1.22 fpts/g (74 games) tier 2 2016/2017 1.56 fpts/g (68 games) tier 1 2015/2016 1.35 fpts/g (80 games) tier 2 2014/2015 1.35 fpts/g (72 games) tier 2
Following the rubric, I'd like to offer a restructure of 2 years x $3,500,000

I'd like to decline the Radulov proposal to make sure there is a slot available for the most recent offer.

Malkin Approved 4 x 8,000,000
Oshie will have to be the top of the 1.2 range because of his past production
so offer is 2 x 4,250,000
